Comfort anywhere. Home everywhere.

The Pavunero FoldNest Travel Mat is a lightweight, padded pet mat designed to give dogs and cats a familiar place to rest wherever the day takes you.

From road trips and camping weekends to café stops, hotel stays, park days, and everyday visits, FoldNest creates a soft resting surface without the bulk of a traditional pet bed.

Its lightly padded channel design provides everyday cushioning, while the flexible construction allows the mat to roll or fold into a compact bundle for easier carrying and storage.

Finished with a built-in carry handle, securing straps, clean edge binding, and subtle Pavunero branding, FoldNest is designed for pet owners who want practical travel gear that still looks at home in modern spaces.

What Is the Pavunero FoldNest Travel Mat?

FoldNest is a portable padded resting mat for dogs and cats.

When opened, it creates a comfortable rectangular surface for your pet to:

• Lie down

• Nap

• Wait beside you

• Rest between activities

• Stay off cold or hard surfaces

When it is time to leave, the mat can be rolled or folded and secured into a compact travel shape.

The result is a pet resting space that is easier to carry than a full-size bed.

Key Features

Foldable & Travel-Friendly

FoldNest is designed around portability.

The soft padded sections allow the mat to fold or roll down into a smaller shape for:

• Car storage

• Backpacks

• Travel bags

• Camping gear

• Closet storage

Integrated securing straps help keep the mat compact when packed.

Built-In Carry Handle

A simple carry handle makes it easier to pick up and transport the rolled mat.

Instead of carrying a loose pet bed under your arm, FoldNest can be grabbed by the handle and moved with the rest of your travel gear.

Lightly Padded Comfort

The surface is divided into evenly padded horizontal channels.

This creates a softer place to rest than:

• Hardwood

• Tile

• Concrete

• Decking

• Vehicle floors

• Tent floors

without making the mat excessively thick or difficult to pack.

Structured Channel Stitching

The stitched sections help keep the internal padding distributed more evenly across the mat.

They also make the product easier to fold along predictable lines.

Rounded Corners

Soft rounded corners create a cleaner silhouette and help reduce sharp folded edges during packing.

Finished Edge Binding

The perimeter is reinforced with fabric binding.

This gives the mat a more finished appearance while helping maintain its overall shape during repeated use.

Modern Pavunero Design

Travel pet gear often looks highly technical or overly sporty.

FoldNest uses Pavunero’s softer lifestyle aesthetic.

Its clean silhouette, muted colors, and subtle stitched branding allow it to work naturally with:

• Neutral luggage

• Modern interiors

• Camping accessories

• Travel bags

• Pet gear collections

Each mat features a sewn Pavunero label along the outer edge.

Available Colors

Sage

A muted, earthy green.

Calm, natural, and especially suitable for:

• Outdoor travel

• Camping

• Hiking

• Neutral home interiors

Pairs well with:

Cream, beige, tan, olive, and natural wood.

Sand

A warm cream-beige tone.

Soft, understated, and easy to coordinate with:

• Neutral luggage

• Light interiors

• Cream accessories

• Beige car interiors

Suggested Materials

Outer Surface

Recommended:

Soft-touch polyester microfiber or peach-skin polyester

Benefits include:

• Smooth feel

• Lightweight construction

• Easy everyday cleaning

• Good durability

• Suitable for quilted stitching

Inner Padding

Recommended:

Polyester fiberfill or lightweight foam padding

Designed to provide:

• Moderate cushioning

• Low bulk

• Flexible folding

• Even surface support

Bottom Layer

Recommended:

Durable polyester Oxford fabric

Optional final production upgrade:

Non-slip dotted backing

This can help reduce movement on smoother indoor surfaces.

Carry Straps

Recommended:

High-density polyester webbing

Designed to keep the mat secured when rolled.

Carry Handle

Recommended:

Reinforced woven polyester handle

Integrated into the top edge or strap system.

Surface Texture

The top surface is designed to feel soft without being excessively fluffy.

This makes FoldNest practical for environments where a sherpa or long-pile fabric may collect too much:

• Sand

• Grass

• Dust

• Outdoor debris

The smooth padded surface is easier to shake and wipe clean.

Use Scenario: Road Trips

Place FoldNest in the car during stops or bring it into hotels and vacation rentals.

Your dog gets a familiar resting surface even when sleeping somewhere new.

Use Scenario: Camping

Lay FoldNest inside:

• Tents

• Camper vans

• Cabins

• Covered decks

to give your pet additional separation from hard or cold surfaces.

Use Scenario: Picnics

Bring the rolled mat along with your picnic gear.

Open it beside your seating area to create a designated place for your dog to relax.

Use Scenario: Outdoor Cafés

Place the mat underneath the table or beside your chair.

This gives your pet a cleaner, more comfortable surface than sitting directly on pavement.

Use Scenario: Hotel Stays

Instead of letting your pet sleep directly on unfamiliar hotel flooring, unfold FoldNest beside your bed.

Its portable design is especially useful for overnight travel.

Use Scenario: Visiting Friends & Family

Pets may not always have their usual bed available when visiting another home.

FoldNest creates a familiar resting place without bringing a bulky indoor bed.

Use Scenario: Home Office

The travel mat works just as well at home.

Place it next to your desk so your pet has a padded spot nearby during work hours.

Use Scenario: Crate or Pen

Depending on the final dimensions, FoldNest may also be used inside compatible crates or indoor pet pens.

Always make sure the mat lies flat and does not create excess loose material if your pet chews bedding.

Use Scenario: Car Trunk or Cargo Area

Use FoldNest as an additional padded resting surface when the vehicle is safely parked.

It can also help create a cleaner temporary spot during outdoor stops.

FoldNest is not a vehicle restraint or crash-safety product.

Cleaning & Care

For regular maintenance:

• Shake away loose dirt

• Vacuum pet hair

• Wipe small marks with a damp cloth

• Spot clean with mild detergent

• Air dry completely before rolling

Washing Recommendations

If the final production version is confirmed machine washable, recommended care could be:

Cold Water · Gentle Cycle · Mild Detergent · Air Dry

However, machine washing should only be advertised after confirming the actual supplier care label.

Avoid:

• Bleach

• Strong chemical cleaners

• High-temperature drying

• Ironing padded surfaces

Outdoor Use

FoldNest is suitable for supervised temporary outdoor use.

For example:

• Dry decks

• Picnic areas

• Covered patios

• Campsites

It should not be left outdoors permanently.

Store indoors when not in use.

Water Resistance

If the final product uses a coated polyester bottom, light moisture resistance may be possible.

Until supplier testing is confirmed, avoid describing the product as fully waterproof.

A safer claim is:

Designed to provide a cleaner resting layer between your pet and everyday surfaces.

Safety Information

FoldNest is a resting mat, not a chew toy.

Inspect regularly for:

• Torn fabric

• Loose stitching

• Exposed filling

• Damaged straps

• Detached labels

Stop use if your pet begins chewing or swallowing the fabric or filling.

Do not use near open flames or excessive heat.

Why Choose Pavunero FoldNest?

Traditional pet beds are comfortable—but they are not always easy to travel with.

FoldNest is designed to sit between a blanket and a full-size pet bed.

You get:

More Cushioning Than a Blanket

Light padding creates a softer resting surface.

Less Bulk Than a Bed

The flexible construction rolls into a compact shape.

Built-In Portability

Integrated handle and securing straps make it easier to carry.

Home-Friendly Style

Sage and Sand coordinate naturally with modern travel and home interiors.

What Makes FoldNest Different?

A standard pet mat may fold loosely and take up unnecessary space.

FoldNest is intentionally designed around travel.

Unroll → Rest → Roll → Carry

The stitched channels make folding easier, while the integrated straps keep everything organized once packed.
